Who We Are

Allergy & Asthma Treatment Centre (AATC) was originally conceived and conceptualized as a treatment centre by Late Prof. (Dr) Sachin Choudhuri, MB. PhD. a renowned clinical Immunologist and Late Brig. (Dr) Niren Das, MB. DARCP&S (Lon), FICS, FCCP (USA) a Vir Chakra awardee and also a renowned Pulmonologist. Since its inception in late 1980s, AATC under the able stewardship of Dr.Arijit Das has been striving hard to attain a scientific and rational approach to the diagnosis and treatment of allergic and other atopic disorders, becoming an acclaimed and trusted name in the industry.

NCD Immunomedicare Pvt. Ltd. formerly known as N.C. Das Immunomedicare Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in the year 2010 and is at present, reputed to be one of the foremost and most renowned diagnostic centres in the eastern part of India, working in the highly specialised fields of Allergy, Immunology and Respiratory diagnostics. It provides state of the art facilities to both patients and physicians alike to conclusively arrive at a diagnosis in regard to allergic disorders.

Allergy detection tests, here, are done both serologically (through Allergy Profiling) as well as through Skin Prick Testing (SPT) with a myriad range of licensed and relevant indigenous allergens, encompassing both food and all kinds of aeroallergens (dust, mites, pollen, mould, fungi, fibres etc.)

The Respiratory Diagnostics division, also a part of the organisation is equipped with a gamut of facilities for all kinds of Lung Functional assessments with different tests, namely PFT, BPT, FeNO, DLCO, IOS, etc.

There also exists, on its premises fully equipped an ISO certified Pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology set-ups, providing an almost one stop facility for the detection of allergic and related disorders along with other general studies.

The eminently well-known Allergy and Asthma Treatment Centre (AATC), which, over the last 35 years has been catering to a vast multitude of patients hailing from all regions of the state, as well as from adjoining states and neighbouring countries, like Bangladesh, has also, of late, been incorporated as the Clinical Wing of the organisation. Known widely to be one of the outstanding institutions, providing stellar medical services to the patient in clinical management and scientific treatment of allergic modalities, AATC, at present, has in its panel of regular consultants, more than 10 esteemed Allergists and Pulmonologists of the city, providing specialised care and individualised treatment plans, in the fields of Respiratory allergies and other allergic disorders.

Plans for the Future

The future plans of NCD Immunomedicare (NCD) would include the setting up of a well equipped Imaging unit, together with a multi-speciality clinical facility, an allergen manufacturing unit for allergy testing and production of immunotherapy kits. It’s also envisaged to shortly commence a comprehensive Training and Course program, in the fields of Allergy and Immunology for physicians and specialised technicians, to be run by renowned faculty from medical institutions in different parts of the country, as well as overseas.

The two units of NCD, one in Central Kolkata (Moulali - AJC Bose Road) and the other in South. Kolkata (Gariahat - Golpark) are situated in two very conveniently located and prominent areas of the city.

We have opened our third unit in Lake Town (North-East Kolkata) and is very conveniently located at the juncture of VIP Road and Lake Town and just behind the Clock Tower.

All the facilities (Both Treatment & Diagnosis) are available equally in three centre.

Situated on main thoroughfares, it provides very easy access to patients from within the city as well as those travelling from the districts, due its close proximity to railway and bus stations.
